Thank You

A Milestone

Life isn’t just a road that leads from a beginning to an ultimate destination. It is a journey of appreciating every milestone along the way.

How many milestones do you expect to celebrate in your life?

Let’s consider birthdays, holidays, graduations, anniversaries, your new homes, your wedding, the birth of your kids (if you have any), promotions and everything else you consider worth celebrating!

What’s your number of milestones? Please feel free to take a moment to think about this.

Do you have your number? Good. I am going out on a limb here and put the number 1,200 into the room. 1,200 milestones. Does this come close to your number?

1,200 days to celebrate in a lifetime of 80 years or 29,200 days. That just about hits the 4% mark! (And the 1,200 days of ultimate happiness come with the most positive and up-beat view on life!) You don’t need to be a math-magician to understand that 4% is a low number!

So why not change the game?

Instead of only celebrating milestones, let’s celebrate moments!

Life isn’t a matter of milestones, but of moments. – Rose Kennedy

Starting last week, the Worldpalblog family has over 100 members!

This is one of these moments worth celebrating!

But this is not a celebration for me… (As if!) This is a celebration for us! All of you together make this place shine so bright!

Without you, Worldpalblog would not be the beautiful spot on the internet it is: a place to celebrate life and obsess over travel just a little too much!

I hope this is a place you turn to when you need a smile. I promise you to always try my best to make you happy. Fingers crossed!

The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate. – Oprah Winfrey

(Please go check out all their sites! They are AMAZING!)

I would like to thank the first two people, who believed in my work:  darlydarly and Tracey Dean were my first two followers. It was just us: Three believers and one of us with a dream. Thank you for believing!

But there are more people that make this community great: Our 21st Century Odyssey, imready, Expat Panda, chasingsydney , Em, kelseywritess, World Traveller and many more of you sweetpeas!

The Inquisitive Writer, Isabella Hume and Kim are some sweethearts who recently joined the Worlpal-family.

Yet, it was Lana Cole and The BookWorm Drinketh who tipped us over to the 100 mark!

My special shoutouts go out to awisecup and Josypheen for most comments on this blog! Thank you for spreading the love!

And also, to Mom Saves Time, Money, Sanity (Because we all know momma needs some help from time to time) for nominating me for the Liebster Award and Stefan, who challenged me with the 3 Day Quote Challenge.

(I obviously could not put all names up there. So please keep in mind that if your name is not up there, it actually should be. I appreciate each follower equally! You all have special place in my heart! So when I continue saying “you”, but you were not listed, you are still included.)

Thank you so much, guys! You are the greatest!

Just keep in mind that you are more than another like to me. I appreciate you being here. You guys are the sprinkles on my cupcake of life!

Let’s take this a step further!

I am looking forward to COLLABORATING WITH YOU!!! If you are interested in working on a few cool projects with me or would like to guestblog on this site, please feel free to message me or leave a comment below. I will definitely get back to you. Afterall, I really want to make this happen! : )

I hope that Worlpalblog stays such a happy place. Thank you for all your love, peeps!

100 followers, holy moly!

Love, Worldpal
