You deserve waking up to singing birds at your window and kick-starting your day with a cup of coffee. You deserve the sun’s kisses and summer winds blowing through your hair. You deserve eating ice cream and sipping lemonade.

Actually, you deserve to be happy and feel loved every day.

I can’t give you all the things you deserve, but I hope someone else does and you have found a way to make yourself happy.

However, I can help you turn your lemons into lemonade with this delicious (and incredibly simple!) recipe.

To me, drinking lemonade compares to drinking sunshine out of a jar. So when I was in Warsaw, Poland – a place that appears to be obsessed with my favorite summertime drink- lemonade was my number one choice.

As you can imagine, I got to try a lot (A LOT!) of different lemonades there. Whenever I had the chance to watch it be prepared, I soaked up the recipes like a sponge.

And now, it’s time to spill!

I decided on the recipe for the lemonade I bought at the Castle Square for three reasons: 1) It did taste amazing. 2) It’s incredibly easy to make. And 3) Since I got back, I happen to associate the taste with warm summer nights overlooking the Castle Square and listening to xylophone music.

  • ½ lemon
  • ½ tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 5 (or more) leaves of mint
  • 300 milliliters of cold water

Take your half lemon and cut off two thin slices. These, you can lay aside for now. Then, squeeze the rest of your lemon and fill the juice into your cup. Add the sugar.

Swirl the mixture around until you feel the two ingredients mixed well. Add the leaves of mint and lastly, the cold water.

Sip some lemonade and smile through your weekend! I hope you have a good one.

Love, Worldpal
